In this paper, the steam pressure control system of marine boiler is studied. Because of the nonlinear nature of marine boiler with instable parameters and difficulties of building accurate mathematic model, this paper proposes the RBF fuzzy neural network PID algorithm for the steam pressure system. The RBF fuzzy neural network PID algorithm for marine boiler is used in the PLC. According to the technology of air system of marine boiler, fuzzy PID algorithm based on PLC is used for marine boiler. Because it adopts Simatic SCL and improves the PLC programs, this paper makes it possible to apply the RBF fuzzy neural network PID algorithm in the PLC. Simulation of the different algorithms is performed, such as RBF fuzzy neural network PID algorithm. The results indicate that the control effect and performance of RBF fuzzy neural network PIDalgorithm is better than the neural network and PID algorithm.The main research of this paper is as follows:Firstly, the paper analyzes the theoretical foundation of the BP neural network PID, RBF fuzzy neural network PID and fuzzy PID. It studies the application of three algorithms for marine boiler.Secondly, the paper is focus on the method of RBF fuzzy neural network PID algorithm in the Simatic S7-400 PLC. The paper gives questions and solutions in the design for the RBF fuzzy neural network PID algorithm. The paper studies the control flow chart, structure of the program and the core program for the fuzzy PID algorithm based on PLC. The paper gives the inertia filter program and the bumpless switching program in the design for RBF fuzzy neural network PID algorithm based on PLC. The paper gives the temperature-pressure compensation program for air flow, the differential fist PID control program and the adjustment program of quantitative factors online in the design for fuzzy PID algorithm based on PLC. The programs increase practicality of the paper.Thirdly, computer simulation is completed for the fuel control loop and air control loop of marine boiler. The paper is focus on the method of PLC simulation for RBF fuzzy neural network PID algorithm.
