Based on the first gathering data from power plant, the online computation general model and the target value model which can reflect the unit's operation economy were researched. The main running equipments in the existing power plants were analyzed and the general mathematical model of the unit was established. A new and accurate method computing the exhaust entropy was brought forward. The instability caused by the change of system structure was analyzed and the method to resolve the computing problems was put forward. The unit's self-optimizing system was established by using the fuzzy synthesis judgment decision. The method which analyzed energy loss of the terminal temperature difference was pointed out. Applying the established mathematical model to the performance analysis platform of certain unit, the operation result achieved the expectation effect.
