Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) is a new generation of clean energy car which has low pollution and low fuel consumption characteristics.Motor as an important component of hybrid vehicles,has become a hot researched spot this year.Currently used in hybrid electric vehicle ISAD system are the induction motor,switched reluctance and permanent magnet synchronous motor.In order to promote the application of brushless DC motor in hybrid vehicles,this paper designed a 42V, 10KW Brushless DC Starter/Generator with the external rotor permanent magnet in ISAD System for Hybrid Electric Vehicle.In this paper,combined with the internal combustion engine power,torque and the total resistance moment of the pertbrmance parameters such as,first studied the match performance of ISAD in a hybrid electric vehicle,gived the starting power Calculation and the confirm of power generation in motor designed,then determined the design goal,according to the goal selected electromagnetic parameters and reasonable winding type in magnet brushless DC electric motor of the program,finally uesd the field-circuit method to complete the design of the motor.Because the motor's performance and the friction depend on the structure of the motor,so analysis the parameters,the motor can be optimized.To validate the designed motor can suffice the ISAD system in hybrid electric vehicle,Ansoft software was used to analysis the motor's performance at different operating conditions.At last designed the whole ISAD system,gave the system control strategy,and introduced the selection of the main power components and station sensors,set up the platform of the experiment,recorded the experimental waveform and the experimental data.The experimental results validate the design of brushless DC motors used in hybrid electric vehicle ISAD system is feasible.
