Study on the integration approach of the starter and generator of the vehicles, the advantages and disadvantages of the various types of motors were analyzed and compared based on a large number of domestic and foreign literatures. The structure, working principle, electromagnetic properties of the ISG (integrated starter generator) were researched. A kind of small size, high efficiency, less changes to the engine, flywheel and motor integrated permanent magnet ISG system for general vehicle which based on the existing 14V vehicle power supply system was designed.The electromagnetic structure parameters of the Permanent magnet ISG were calculated. The new type of centrifugal flywheel-type permanent magnet rotor was designed, which has high magnetic field utilization efficiency.The magnetic circuit model of the ISG was built by took the advantages of the software ANSYS. The electromagnetic properties of the ISG were analyzed using the finite element method. Based on the high precision results of the analysis the air-gap, magnet length, shape of the stator slot and slot width were optimized.The start principle and characteristics of the ISG was analyzed. The control chip MC33035 and MOSFET power components and their peripheral circuit were researched. A kind of short working time, high starting torque and conduction current, no speed control function permanent magnet brushless DC start control circuit was designed. Using the software SIMULINK, the sensor signals, voltage and phase current were simulated. The results show that the control circuit has a good control performance on start-up. The voltage regulation principle and control approach of the generator were researched. Regulator circuit consists of benchmark circuit, compare circuit, and trigger circuit for three-phase half-controlled bridge rectifier regulator control circuit was designed. The circuit was designed to meet the requirement of output stable DC when the engine speed and the load were wide. |
