With the coming of knowledge,knowledge is becoming the most active and important part of the essential ingredient of productivity.Following with it,knowledge reuse has become an important means to enhance the speed of product exploiture,respond to the requirement of market fleetly and make maximum use of the resource.Based on knowledge reuse theory,this paper intends to build up the reducer quick design system by using the intelligentized CAD Concept to integrate the theory of expert system with three-dimensional parametric CAD software-Solid Edge,combining with the data-base technology and using VC++ 6.0 to achieve the secondary development of Solid Edge.This system not only has the drawing function of traditional CAD system,but also support designer's thinking activity.It has the three-dimensional,parametric and intelligentized characteristics.Research emphases of this paper are as follows:(1) According to reducer design theory and method,the functions and overall structure of reducer quick design system has been determined.(2) The research of design means based on konwledge has been carried out.By analyzing the characteristics of reducer design knowledge,this paper selects a kind of mixed representation,which uses object-oriented representation as frame and synthesize database representation,rule representation and process representation.(3) This paper researches how to build the knowledge base in the relational database. The design knowledge has been generalized and stored in the form of instance base and rule base.(4) This paper researches the knowledge reuse technologies used in this system,including CBR reasoning technology,RBR reasoning technology and Parametric Design technology.(5) This paper put forward multi-grade fuzzy comprehensive appraisement means to evaluate the reducer projects,which has been illustrated with the evaluation of reducer transmission projects.(6) The reducer quick design system with real-timing,visualization and graphic has been build up by VC++ 6.0.This paper has given the user interfaces and their instructions.
