With the rapid development of economy, more and more Chinese people buy cars. The proportion of air pollution which is caused by the cars is increasing. Motor vehicle emission pollution, especially particulate matter smaller size is harm to human body. The existence of the photochemical smog in the city is a latent threaten and effects human's health directly. To have a good grasp of the emission situation of the main road is an urgent problem, through developing and changing the traffic control measures to reduce the environmental pollution. For the abovementioned situation, on the basis of the combination of city vehicles, combinated the operating situation of cars in our country. Did key research of the city's emissions of light motor vehicles and the real-time distribution of the motor vehicle emissions, and controlled motor vehicle emissions to solve the pollution problems through traffic control measures. In this paper, The main job as the following:Analyzing the characteristics of the motor vehicle emissions testing methods and the main principles of the emission model. Summing up the main emission test methods and the application of emission models. The use of GPS, OEM2100, notebook computers, sensors and other devices, we set up a vehicle emission test system, through the light vehicle emission experiments of Wuhan City,we got the light vehicle emission data, received treatment for light motor vehicles in Wuhan emission model Through analysis of data, and CMEM emission model has been amended.Carried out the traffic flow on major roads investigate tests in Wuhan City and got the main traffic flow distribution. Combination of motor vehicle emissions model to estimate emissions of Wuhan distribution of source strength.Expounding the principle and the structure of the decision-supporting system. Mading a brief description of the development status quo of the system at home and abroad.Researching the problems of the spatial and temporal distribution based on the motor vehicle emissions of the geographic information systems. Designed the motor vehicles emissions Query Module on the city's spatial and temporal distributional emissions. Designed the analysis module of the urban road emissions by using database technology. Designed the emission control module based on the implementation flow and the speed of motor vehicles by the combination of motor vehicle emissions model and the situation of motor vehicle emissions in our country. Designed the decision-supporting modules by combination of motor vehicle emissions model, the signal distribution software and traffic flow simulation software. Designed the vehicle exhaust emission control decision support system software by using the computer technology.Also, in this paper, selecting components from the typical path of a road network of Wuhan, designing of the intersection of two different programs with time. With traffic simulation and emission prediction, prediction results of the two emissions were got. And made control objectives for different comparative analysis of the two options is better timing.
