As we known, discharge of ship oil water is an important factor in the pollution. International Maritime Organization maked a variety of laws and regulation to stop the discharge of ship oil water, but how to monitor the implementation of the laws and regulation is an important issue at present. Now, some ships pour oil water directly into the sea, caused water pollution. In order to prevent water pollution, to adapt to the International Maritime Organization《MARPOL73/78》, the design of a good oil water discharge monitoring system to track the functioning of marine oil-water separation equipment is one of the important technical means at present.With the development of social economy and science technology, RF(Radio Frequency) card technology is more broadly applied by all kinds of trades, specially such as mass transit,wireless communication,identify,finance trade and safety-defend etc..We use usually magnetic card or touch IC(IntelligentCard) in the Past, but the shortage is that the card is read-write low effieiency,frietional waste and short life, so that it can not guarantee the reliability of system for long term running. RF card is a kind of untoueh IC card. RF card will make up for those shortage of magnetic card or touch IC card.It is read-write faster and more effieieney than them. RF card technology and MCU technology are constituting of the ship oil-water separate monitoring system.This paper has designed a kind of monitor and control terminal based on the single-chip computer. The terminal is designed for ship protecting pollution equipment, and has certain commonability. In addition, the terminal is operated by the means of RF card, and it is more convenient to use. All these are the outstanding characteristic of the terminal.The terminal consists of two parts mainly: ZLG500B module and a monitor and control unit taking single-chip computer as the core. ZLG500B module is the MF RC500 module produced by PHILIPS Company; it is used for receiving and delivering RF card mainly. The unit is used to finish the concrete monitor and control task, and communicate with PC.Firstly the paper introduces the former development history and the future development direction about IC, then diseusses the technology speciality and the application direction for all kinds of IC. Secondly, the paper discourse the design & development process of the system hardware and system software in detail, including design of hardware circuit, introduce of the hardware circuit chip, program of the hardware driver, program of the serial communication etc.. After the finishing of the as-above part, the paper give the interface & result of the system running. Finally the paper summarizes the research course and advances the prospect of project.
