The lead-acid storage battery group is the drive power supply or contingency powersupply for many ships. So the performance of the storage battery group is directly related tothe normal running of ship. It is necessary to measure batteries' parameters accurately andfrequently in order to enhance their lives, run them reliably and ensure the batteries in theoptimal working states. In the past, the testing of the storage batteries' parameters wascompleted artificially. However, this method has many disadvantages. It's slow to testbatteries artificially, the measurement precision is low, and the surroundings of storagebattery cabin are very harmful to people's health. So it's very important to design a devicewhich can test batteries automatically.The monitor system is to take AT89S52 as the core, its chip adopts the craft of CMOSand faces to monolithic machine with memory structure.It implies the quick cleaning of the 8K word EEPROM, 256 word stanza three 16 settle recorders,32 programmable I/O port,6inside the break source.The programmable string goes to weave,still having the spare timeand dropping to give or get an electric shock the way. Its integrated degree is high, the speedis quick, the power consumed is low specially suitable for the control system of manymethods, data collection. This system can measure 10 roads or 20 roads the electric voltage ofstorage batteries, battery electric voltage, battery temperature and refresh and dischargeelectric current etc.In addition, this paper describes the design of system's software and hardware, and raisesthe idea to advance system. This paper introduces the states of SOC of battery measuringtechnology insealing lead-acidbattery, analysis the difficult point,Advance the direction inmeasuring technology.
