| As the rapid increase of the domestic timber demand,the timber carrier has got a great development.Large amount of timber carriers appear,part of which are refitted by the general cargo ship,however,the damage of the cargo and the ship on the process of the transportation has drew many research institutions and navigation companies' attentions.Although the main member of the International Ship's Classification Association(IACS) and the International Maritime Organization(IMO) have taken many actions,etc,introduce more strict ship's safety system and establish conventions to make sure the safety of the ship.But according to the statistics,quit a lot accident of the timber carrier cause death to crew every year.The main reason for the accident is the abominable condition of the timber carrier's structure,furthermore, on most conditions,the accident happens so rapidly that it's hard for the crew to perceive.The main reason for the accident lies in the deficiency of the stability which caused by unfit cargo distribution and the change of the condition in the ship maneuvering gear.To improve the safety of transportation and loading of the timber cartier,whose important segments has been done some research on,in this paper.FirStly,collect materials to analysis recent year's domestic timber transport quotations and the problems existing in the transportation,analysis the ship's lashing equipments based on the vessel sandina,combined with international rules,analysis the requirement of lashing equipment on board and the layout of the lashing equipment,then,check the lashing equipment's strength.After loading,check the stability according to the cargos' weight gravity,combined with static stability arm force curve,lastly,analysis the properly damage to the vessel carrying timber,and try the best to avoid this situation on the transportation.This paper pay more attention on the securing of loading,analysis the configuration of lashing equipment on board,summarize the problems existing in the actual sailing. |
