The building,rebuilding and expanding school facility in the city is increasing steadily along with rapid development of economy and education reform.However,whether the space quality could satisfy the requirements of teachers and students for studying and living in the campus becomes a research project worthy to be discussed and solved,while numerous school facilities are built up and space layout features versatile and flexible.The teaching building is the school building facility used by students frequently.It provides most rooms for students to communicate and study with each other.The relevant designs in the teaching building has already become mature,so how to use communication space in publicity outside the classroom to create study and communication space for students has become to be a question we concerned.According to above explanation,author chooses communication space of the middle school teaching buildings in Dalian as the object of study.By surveying of typical middle school communication space in 5 middle schools in Dalian such as Dalian Development Zone No.10 middle school,the author analyzes the existed communication space problems in Dalian middle schools,studies the advantages and disadvantages to explore characteristics and components of communication space,summarize its structural characteristics,methods of processing and discipline and discusses briefly characteristics and design method under our country middle school teaching pattern at the present stage.
