Research On The Renovation Of Public Communication Space Of University Teaching Buildings In Xi'an

With the implementation of a series of policies such as the expansion of colleges and universities in China,the rapid development of higher education has been promoted.Under the premise of insufficient teaching space and diversified teaching needs,large-scale expansion of teaching buildings in colleges and universities has begun,and new campuses have sprung up in construction.Xi'an colleges and universities also entered the stage of large-scale construction of the new campus around 2000.In this wave of construction,a large number of university teaching building design cases have emerged.At the same time,the continuous reform of college teaching models,the introduction of new teaching methods,generally open and interactive teaching methods make the teaching and learning process no longer limited to the classroom,and the teaching process pays more attention to the communication between teachers and students.The change of education mode also puts forward the new requirement of public communication space for teaching buildings in colleges and universities.In contrast,the teaching buildings built during the large-scale construction of new campuses in colleges and universities are affected by many factors,their functions are single,and their forms are convergent,and they lack the consideration of public communication space.With the development of the times,the space of the existing university teaching building is difficult to meet the needs of teachers and students to a certain extent.In the contradiction between the inconsistency between the education model and the teaching space,it is imperative to renovate the public communicationspace in the teaching building of colleges and universities.Based on the research background and research objects of the public communication space in the teaching building of colleges and universities,the thesis summarizes the research status at home and abroad,and clarifies the purpose and significance of the research.Secondly,based on the concepts of public communication and communication space,the paper analyzes the communication activities and space attributes in the teaching building of colleges and universities,and summarizes the types of public communication space in the teaching building of colleges and universities with examples.On this basis,through the field survey,the current situation of the use of public communication space in the teaching building of colleges and universities in Xi'an area and the demand for public communication space by teachers and students were analyzed,and the influencing factors in the design of the public communication space of the teaching building were summarized.Based on this,the design method and optimization strategy of the public communication space of the teaching building in colleges and universities in Xi'an area are proposed.Finally,through the practical case of the renovation and reconstruction of the public communication space of the teaching building of the Weiyang campus of Xi'an University of Technology,the strategy proposed above is demonstrated.In the research of the thesis,relying on the existing theoretical background,using the methods of data collection,field survey,questionnaire and summary to find problems,analyze the reasons,summarize and optimize.And through the way of horizontal comparison,we re-examine the public communication space of the existing university teaching building.It is hoped that the design principles,optimization strategies and transformation methods proposed by the research institute of this thesis will provide a certain reference for the practice of the renovation and transformation of the public communication space of the same type of university teaching buildings in Xi'an in the future.
