Now it is the peak of China's rural road construction,however,many rural highway are lack of construction funds,how to reduce the project cost and save investments are essential with a universal problem.this article relies on research projects in Chongqing Transportation Committee"applied research of low-cost rural highway in Qianjiang district",conduct a study on the rubble concrete pavement.Through the basic situation of Qianjiang rural highway research,obtained the local road construction materials distribution,subgrade situation,commonly used type of pavement structure and traffic characteristics. through many interior test,studied the content of 20%,30%,40% rubble concrete pavement performance. the results show that the rubble concrete can use as a low-traffic rural road surface material. on this basis the use of three-dimensional finite element software COSMOS analysed load stress and temperature stress of rubble concrete pavement structure,through a series of mathematical methods and SPSS software for analysis and calculation,fitting suitable for low-grade roads with rubble concrete pavement load stress and thermal stress calculation formula,combined with the actual situation of Qianjiang rural highway,proposed low-traffic rural roads typical structural rubble concrete pavement. through the analysis of ordinary cement concrete cutting mechanism and conditions.on the rubble concrete pavement research of saw sewing time,saw slit spacing ,saw seam depth. and give the recommended values.finally paved entities engineering at the Qianjiang district,to explore the construction technology of rubble concrete pavement.Strength characteristics of rubble concrete are different from the traditional cement concrete pavement,its compressive strength is higher than the plain concrete,flexural strength lower than the plain concrete,brittle relatively large. opened to traffic for nearly a year of physical works showed that rubble concrete used in low-traffic rural roads is well,reduce the project cost more than 30%,has significant economic and social benefits.
