With the development of "ecological building",many kinds of ecological wall materials are applied to the composite-wall structure,formed ecological composite-wall.The ecological composite-wall structure with straw fiber cement-based blocks is one of them.Experimental study on the early results indicate that the composite walls have many kinds of failure modes because of the complexity in the production and the variability in the materials used under the combined effect of level load and vertical load.A reasonable failure mode can make the composite wall exert fully unique seismic performance.Based on the experiment and nonlinear FEM analysis in this paper,the seismic behavior and failure mode of the ecological composite wall with straw fiber cement-based blocks have been researched. The criteria of failure mode for the wall have been proposed through the comparative analysis of composite walls.In addition;the main influencing factors have been assayed in this paper. The main research contents are summarized as follows:1.A group of 1/2 scale model of ecological composite wall with straw fiber cement-based block is tested under low-frequency cyclic loading in this paper.The main failure modes and seismic performance of the ecological composite wall are studied.The wall's failure modes and failure mechanical property are discussed mainly.The comparative analysis on the ecological composite and SW6 filled autoclaved aerated concrete masonry are made.2.The material performance requirements are determined to make the wall happen a reasonable mechanism---shear-type failure mode through the comparative analysis of different failure modes of ecological analysis wall filled different materials.The criteria of failure modes for the wall have been proposed by the reinforcement contingency analysis of different parts of the wall that happened different failure modes.3.Nonlinear FEM for the composite walls with straw fiber cement-based blocks,EPS block and nipizhuan block are established to simulate the whole process of internal forces and deformation and reinforcement contingency.In addition,the analysis models are compared with experiment and the correctness of these models are verified.This paper mainly study the reinforcement contingency change of various parts of the wall under different failure modes, and the failure mode criteria for eco-composite wall proposed in this paper is further verified. The main influencing factors of failure modes for eco-composite wall with straw fiber cement-based blocks have studied.
