Analysis And Control Of The Causes On Early Water Damage Of Highway

According to the study of the early damage of asphalt pavement for more than 70%, directly or indirectly,with the road surface of the water-stable,that is caused by water damage. Water damage to asphalt pavement has become the most serious form of damage.Whether in the heat of the South,or the cold north-east,shortly after its opening,there are varying degrees of water damage problem.Therefore,how to prevent and resolve water damage to asphalt pavement problem has far-reaching impact on society and of great economic significance.Solution of water damage are mainly from two aspects:on the one hand,enhancing the water-stable of asphalt mixture,which is the stability of the water;on the other hand, minimizing or preventing water entering the pavement structure,or as soon as possible excluding the water.Therefore,the water damage is a systematic project,and only from the overall situation,good grasp of every aspect related to the extent possible,to reduce water damage.Based on the above analysis,with State Road 107 Zhumadian modified section of the road project examples.First of all,according to existing norms,a variety of structural layer design of asphalt mixture gradation are optimized,on the basis of both the structural layer of high temperature stability(the ability of anti-rut) and other properties,we focus on the density of asphalt mixture of water and water-damage resistant ability,then offer the structure of layers of asphalt AC-20 mixture of mineral aggregate gradation range.Followed by a successful test section paved.The design of asphalt concrete pavement in various parameters validated,and finally,through a variety of engineering practice have waterproof layer to analyze the advantages and disadvantages compared to the waterproof layer of the layer settings,materials specifications,construction requirements and the construction process,and at all be promoted and achieved good results.
