| With the increasing emphasis on road safety, it is in much-needed to design a warning system which can monitor the information in front of driveway in inclement weather and give the driver a timely warning signal when in Dangerous distance. By analyze and compare the characteristics of research in this field at home and abroad. At last we choose a program using infrared vision and design this system with DSP technology.In this paper, the first part proposes an over all design scheme in accordance with the system design requirements. The second part divided the whole system into front-end video capture module, data processing module, video I/O modules, logic control module and communication module. In the design of front-end video capture module, how to achieve infrared vision and to ensure the image quality that collected at a distance far enough. The data processing module was designed in TI's TMS320DM642 DSP chip as the core. Design the smallest DSP system after a deep study of the internal functions of the DM642.The design of video I/O modules is mainly about the selecting of video encoder/decoder chip and how to control video encoder/decoder chip by I2C bus in DM642. The design of logic control module is a powerful use of CPLD timing control function to realize the whole system of logic and timing control. The design of communication module is for the information that changes between this system and other active safety systems in vehicle. This design is make use of CPLD to realize the communication between DSP and CAN bus. As the system is high-speed digital circuit. Combining the characteristics of high-speed digital circuit signal I introduce the design of this system's PCB board. The last part is to introduce the BIOS of this system'design and summarize the debugging of system function. |
