It is very important direction to study and improve the braking performance of the vehicle. The development of computer technology and the application of the virtual soft supply a more effective method-automotive Dynamic Co-Simulation for the studying, which can short the design period, cut down the cost, and reduce the risk of the experiment. The ABS system can improve the safety of the vehicle, cut the braking distance, and enhance the braking stability. The Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) is more effective on the base of ABS, which can make better performance on braking distance, braking stability. This article introduces how to build the subsystem of the brake, and the files of the tire and the roads in detail, also introduce how to realize the closed-loop control between the soft of CAR and Simulink. This article controls the slip-rate of the each wheel by logic threshold, and contorls the rear wheel of EBD vehicle with S-Funcation, making its slip-rate always less than or equal the front wheel's. The simulations of the straight line braking on the high coefficient and variant coefficient roads testify EBD can make better braking performance of the vehicle. And changing the control factor of the simulation, and testing the changes of the simulation, can testify the importance of the correct simulation parameter. The building of the model of vehicle, the files of roads and tires in this article and the Co-simulation, provide an effective method for EBD system.
