The inspiration of this topic comes from the production need of Wenzhou, Zhejiang KCM Valve Co., Ltd. The mill production of valve and flashboard was achieved by using the pneumatic measure of dimension of valve's lumen. The process of producing flashboard valve was completed by milling and matching. Following the finishing of the valve body earlier and then we made the flashboard in accordance with the body cavity of the taper size. In this way only getting the body cavity of the taper size well known we could successfully finish the production of milling and matching. The research aims to get the key measurement of process size done accurately during the conversion.Analysis of Pneumatic measuring in principle has been made in the text. And we did static analysis about the designed taper probe. We designed one special pneumatic probe according to the measured object, analyzed the principle of Buoy-age pneumatic measuring instrument and designed the calibration of the probe based on the gas flow way. Under the help of the analysis about the pressure gas way we got the influence result from the three parameters of work pressure and nozzle diameter Orifice separately by simulation of the measurement curve using MATLAB software. For the back pressure method, we could get the standard micro-step by the micro stage so that we set up an experiment platform using back pressure method. We did experiment to measure single-nozzle pneumatic head and taper pneumatic probe respectively. We got the data from the experiment programmed using the MATLAB and did data processing by optimizing the best curve segment. And finally we got the error sources in the experiment and synthesized them.
