With the development of the machinery industry, the machining accuracy and productivity have become increasingly demanded. The parameters such as the outside diameter, runout of outer circle and parallelism tolerance will have direct effect on the transmission performance of the steering wheel’s driving system and bring security risks to cars. Presently, most machinery processing enterprises still use micrometer, dial indicator and such other generally used measuring tools to test products by hand. The lack such as single measurement parameter, low measuring accuracy and efficiency, too much labor costs would seriously hamper the development of our country’s machinery industry. A STM32 based pulley-parameter detection system integrated with inductive displacement sensors and sensor gas-electric sensors is researched in this paper.Using the measurements of existing plant for reference, proposed a new schematic program of the measuring system and according to the measuring principle,, determined the design of the mechanical structure of the measuring system, select and design the guide rail, cylinder and other key components, build the mechanical structure platform of the measuring system.According to the functional requirements of system and considering the electromagnetic compatibility and reliability of the circuit, propose a reasonable hardware circuit based on STM32, including data acquisition circuit, motion control circuit, human-machine communication circuit and so on.Designed a simple and intuitive man-machine interface and built software systems.A data processing scheme is proposed and the mechanical and electrical system is repeated tested. The system is verifyied by CMM and manual inspection.It proves that the multi-parameter measuring system has many advantages such as high degree of automation, low artificially participation and high measuring efficiency.
