Along with the rapidly development of electric power industry, as well as the application of computer technology and the networking, the integrated substation automation system is oriented toward multi-function, the digitizing and standardizing. As the systems'complex structure and formidable function,it is difficulty to study and grasp quickly. To develop a real-time simulation technology based on the number of physical hybrid simulation of substation automation training system to simulate the real operating conditions of various substations of electrical engineering colleges and students to conduct experiments of substation operating personnel training.Firstly the substation automation development process is summarized, and primary coverage and the basic function are analyzed. The two traditional pattern of substation automated system's simulation are dwelled upon. Based on this, the digital physics hybrid simulation plan is proposed. Then the digital physics hybrid simulation structure and the principle are analyzed. This plan put the digital simulation one, two subsystem equipment and the real physics's substation automated system equipment in the identical simulation system. Because of the organic connection, and the flexible disposition, the more lifelike movement environment is built. The substation simulation training system are composed by primary equipments, secondary equipments signal source system (including: primary equipments, secondary equipments'signal generating system and power network signal imitation software system) and real substation automated system (including: Microcomputer protection,measurement and control system and Centra2000 monitoring software system).Then study the TQWX-II microcomputer relay protection experiment instrument's important hardware equipment. The tester generat the the experiment signal in simulation experiment system,which could output electric current and voltage signal in certain amplitude of the random size and the phase angle.The paper has researched the Centra2000 monitoring software's application the function and the communication protocol in digit physical simulation. Cancelled the complex huge primary equipmentstest, it sets up the random structure primary equipment by the configuration software a, and inputs the actual parameter, and has disposed the power flow calculation and the short circuit computation software, and establish the fault point and the breakdown type willfully. Finally, the substation automated system's equipment movements are simulated really, and a series of test experiments have been carried on: the line protection and monitoring device; Main transformer differential motion, high and low pressure side reserve protection and monitoring device; Capacitor protection and monitoring device.Digital physics simulation training systems which have an important application value and practical significance have realistic simulating substation environment, friendly human-machine interface, flexible configuration, lower cost, and the training staff could operation the sets very well.
