With the rapid deverlopment of the national economy and the electric power industry, electric power system automation and infomationization level demands are increasingly high. Transformer stations of the grid system as an important basic element, its level of automation diretly affect the grid security and stability thus transformer stations. Intergrated system has been rapid since the deverlopment and promotion of application as an important measure of the power level on the basis of enterprise automation.The present paper summarizes the phases of the development of integrated automation system of substations at home and abroad in the light of 220kV substation project of power plant at Linhe, Inner Mongonlia .Also the paper has described in detail the design and realization of integrated automation system of substation with disperse and distribution structure, the composition of software and hardware of the monitoring system of substation, At last, it analyzes and introduces Eye Win2.0 power plant supervisory control system.
