Urban agglomeration integration is a major part of region's integration, and it is now an important task to make an integrative transportation network during its cultivation and development, for which there is a lack of quantitative mixed transportation network design theory and approach. Based on the background of an integrative transportation network of urban agglomeration, highway network analyzing of urban agglomeration, algorithms about path-based traffic assignment and software programs based on MATLAB which according at the characteristic demand of the highway network are studied in the thesis, meanwhile, the models and algorithms for integration mixed highway network design are deeply studied, and some achievements is obtained by using quantitative methods.At first, according to the development demand of the economic integrative of urban agglomeration and traffic demand features, the characteristic demand of integrative highway network is studied, and the effect factors of layout and the hierarchical structure of highway network is analyzed. The relation of highway transportation and the necessity of integrative network is demonstrated by using the spatial autocorrelation methods, and a case study on the ZheZhong urban agglomeration is given to analyze the imbalance character of the current highway network development.Secondly, according to the defect of link-based traffic assignment, path-based traffic assignment in traffic design which is more suitable for urban agglomeration is demonstrated. By using the latest research achievements of path-based traffic assignment, deterministic and stochastic path-based user equilibrium traffic assignment model is solved by using GP algorithms. With the technology of MATLAB, exporting the calculation results viewably is realized.In the finality, considering there are no relevant capacity enlargement measures for in fact, and highway network for urban agglomeration can't reflecting the information of grade and lanes of the network, the method of transforming the discrete variable to continuous variable is gived. Continuous traffic network design problem can be transformed to discrete transportation network design problem by conformation a decision-make variable,and modeling method of mixed highway design is gived. According to the very characteristics of transportation network of urban agglomeration, the design model based on accessibility and priority& equity of mixed highway network are built separately, a GA algorithm is designed and simulation test is made for the two models. The results showed that the solving method be putted forward in this paper has beautiful applicability.
