In this paper, experiment modal analysis technology which is most commonly used in the mechanism dynamic characteristic is deep discussed. Having a deep research on the basis of the theories of modal analysis and comparing several methods to the parameters identification that used widely. The equations will be ill-conditioning when the polynomial order is large in the course of establishing structural frequency response function with rational fraction polynomials. To overcome the drawback a kind of improved discrete orthogonal polynomials have been proposed in fourier domain developed from relatives in real domain. And the software of kernel step on experimental modal analysis—identifying modal parameter is completed, which supply the feasible basis for the development of analysis software system of experimental modal. And build the modal experiments platform of simple beam to confirm the accuracy of the conclusion.
