At present , most network structure of power system is planned and designed without considering wind power integration. If a large number of wind power is integrated with the distribution network, it would be certain to cause some dangers to the security and stability of the existing power load and supply. In this paper, according to this situation the impact of wind power integration and the arithmetic of wind farm penetration have been studied in depth. The second-order Taylor expansion search method for wind farm penetration limit is proposed, which has been proved to be rapid, precise and effective on IEEE 11 system. The method has been applied to the specific distribution network expansion planning in order to calculation the wind farm penetration, then network structure and integration point have been chose effectively with minimum network loss as object.
