| With the development of national economy and the improvement in life quality of the people,the requirement to the electric energy quality of user has been more and more rigorous.Distribution system is required to be layout scientifically.The distribution system has a direct connection to customers,so distribution system can make most influence on customers.So the evaluation of distribution system reliability and improving system reliability is most significant.This paper introduces the research actuality of the domestic and international electric power system about the reliability,along with the basic concept and indices of the distribution system reliability.Through building the element reliability model and giving the indices formula of calculation,the system reliability indices can be worked out by analytical method.Using a example of simple distribution system testifies the reliability.The statistic of the BaoTou Iron and Steel Industry's accidents and the evaluation of the maintenance of projects of various equipments' reliability are also included in the paper.At last,this paper uses the actual maintenance of projects of the BaoTou Iron and Steel Industry's accidents about the distribution system to the evaluation of reliability. Through the actual analyzed result,it proves the possibility and the availability about the distribution system equipments of maintenance of projects based on reliability.
