| Reliability of the distribution system was focused on more and more attention with the improving of people life. In this paper, the risk evaluation of distribution system, methods for assessing the reliability of the distribution network and power flow are researched. A series of methods for calculating outage time and EENS is proposed based on the firm capacity and risk time. The substation which violated"N-1"security rules was researched and risk was evaluated with two indexes. Fault traversal algorithm and forward/backward sweep method were realized in this paper. And examples prove these methods. further enhancing distribution network reliability and accuracy. The harmony of reliably and economics are researched in this paper and the model of cost-benefit is established .
