Based on the application of the special-shaped column, combining the merits of steel reinforced concrete, a new structure of form-steel reinforced concrete of special-shaped column came into being. Compares with the ordinary special-shaped column, it takes on the advantage for high bearing capacity, good ductility, the excellent seismic behavior etc; compares with the ordinary concrete structure, it takes on the advantage for beauty and good applicability, high room utilization etc.It takes on the advantage for high bearing capacity, good ductility, the excellent seismic behavior, beauty and good applicability etc.Through the low cyclic reversed lateral loading experiment of 3 L-shaped cross-section steel reinforced concrete columns and 1 L-shaped cross-section reinforced concrete column, the main destroyed patterns of L-shaped cross-section steel reinforced concrete columns are obtained under compression, combining flexure and shear force. It analyses the ductility, hysteresis, ability of energy consumption, bearing capacity degradation and stiffness degradation of steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column according to the result of the experiment.ANSYS is applied to implement the numerical simulative analysis on the L-shaped cross-section steel reinforced concrete columns. and the contrast between test results and calculated results of ANSYS is given by load-deformation curve. The result shows that the calculated results of ANSYS are in correspondence with those of the tests.It analyzes the influence of axial compression ratio, shear span ratio, and stirrup ratio etc on the ductility of steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column, and analyzes the bearing capacity and deformability between steel reinforced concrete special-shaped columns and the reinforced concrete special-shaped column. Test results indicate that steel reinforced special-shaped column have the behavior of high resistant capacity and excellent ductility, the seismic performance of which is superior to that of reinforced concrete columns. Meanwhile, it establishes the restoring force model of special-shaped SRC columns.Finally, it discusses the calculation methods of yield curvature and biaxial bending bearing capacity of the L-shaped cross-section steel reinforced concrete column.There are mainly three conclusions according to the test:(1)The bearing capacity of the steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column improves with the increase of the steel volume.(2)The ductility of the steel reinforced concrete special-shaped column raises with the increase of the steel volume and declines with the increase of the axial compression ratio.(3)Compared to the reinforced concrete special-shaped columns, steel reinforced concrete special-shaped columns are with higher capacity, better ductility, larger energy dissipation capacity, more deformation capacity, and shows excellent seismic performance.
