With the improvement of living standards,accelerated pace of life, the incidence of cardiovascular disease increased, become one of the main threat to human health. Because heart disease with sudden onset, for a long time to supine patients in the hospital is impossible, however, health care workers also need to be the guardian of real-time, therefore, research high-performance portable ECG monitor has great significance. In the existing medical and social context of science and technology, prominent in the field of medical care has been toward personalized,portability,multifunctional, hence the need for such a system to conform to its development.For the above, this paper put forward a ECG monitoring system solutions based on SOPC, Altera corporation Cyclone II series chip EP2C8Q208 as the core chip of construction of the hardware platform. System hardware design, including the external circuit design of FPGA and ECG condition module design, embedded soft-core Nios II as the system processor. System software design mainly in the Nios II IDE, using the Nios II custom instruction methods to prepara the C language applications, And introduced in the system,,μC/OS II Embedded Operating System, And a brief introduction of theμC/OS II in the Nios II transplantation method. The use of ECG display 240*320 of the TFT LCD screen, transplantation of Graphical user interfaceμC/GUI, Good-looking interface, can display the real-time ECG waveform; ECG signal storage used SD card, it is capacity,low cost and easy to carry, FAT16 file format used for data storage. the data is transmitted by the Ethernet network. The data can be received by the server which is in the hospital and can be displayed on the server.In this paper, the work of the above had a detail discussion, and the production of the corresponding physical modules, after a series of experiments to prove the feasibility of the system, ECG equipment will be at the same time to the form of digital and waveform display, so that a guardian can be displayed through the instruments and digital waveform graph to make an initial pathological diagnosis, enable individuals to facilitate the health status of their own self-detection and analysis.
