Research Of Data Matrix Two-Dimensional Barcode Applied In Post

With higher capacity, higher density, more powerful error-correction ability and higher security ability, two-dimensional (2D) Barcode has played an important role in the information automation field. Based on digital image processing and combined coding theory, Data Matrix two-dimensional barcode is a symbol system processed automatically using image recognition technology. The Recognition Technology of 2D is more complex than that of one-dimensional barcode, especially of two-dimensional matrix barcode, so it is an important research field to recognized 2D barcode fleetly and effectively.Aiming at the problem of fake digital postage stamp which causes large economic losses to the post, a new Data Matrix two-dimensional barcode generation and identification system used in the digital postage stamp was developed. First, the standards of Data Matrix two-dimensional barcode as security code in digital postage stamp was briefly introduced, following 3DES encryption algorithm was described. Then with the study of the structure of Data Matrix two-dimensional barcode, the function of drawing two-dimension barcode is implemented in the digital postage stamp. Second, this paper also developed Data Matrix two-dimensional barcode identification system which used in the digital postage stamp. Mainly including the technology of barcode processing based on the Digital image processing and the decoding of Data Matrix barcode. In the technology of processing, in order to enhance the correct decoding rate in the practical application, a method of recognizing Data Matrix was presented by preprocessing and twice -localization, Data Matrix symbol is segmented from the image and its data were obtained. In the decoding of Data Matrix barcode, this paper gives a through analysis of RS code s application in two-dimensional barcode Data Matrix, giving detailed error-correcting principles in GF(256)and realizing its algorithm.First, the result of the research was applied in the Visual C++ platform, and Data Matrix two-dimensional bar code generation system in the digital postage stamp can exactly print the barcode, Decoding system can exactly recognize the barcode, which proved the feasibility and stability of the System.
