| The chemical industrial park is benefit for utilization of raw materials and comprehensive treatment for "three wastes" owning to the high requirement for resource and energy as well as tremendous negative environmental effect of chemical industry. The main concerns about chemical industrial park in the world are included a better predominance performance of chemical industrial park, the settlement of inherent contravention between chemical industry and environment, and the achievement of sustainable development. It is essential to investigate chemical eco-industrial park systematically due to the inevitable trend of the development from chemical industrial park to chemical eco-industrial park. The contents of this dissertation, based on above mentioned points, are mainly consisted of the following parts:(1) Analysis and explanation of chemical eco-industrial park planning. Firstly, the summarization of three types of planning followed by concrete exposition of a novel chemical eco-industrial park planning was carried out. The process steps for the application of planning idea was suggested based on the directly proposed general ideas such as the objective, the principle, and the significance. This study proposed the concept of general "virescence" for the first time, analyzed and designed the structure and mode of chemical industrial ecosystem, classified and constructed the industrial sub-ecosystem from various sorts of chemical industry, and combined to the integrated park of industrial ecosystem according to the concrete situation, which could be available for diversified sorts of the park practically. The distrubition method of chemical eco-industrial park was innovatively and directly proposed that combined the advantages of grouped distribution and zonal distribution of layout method of chemical eco-industrial park from three aspects as landscape distribution, landscape ecological unit and landscape virescence plan, respectively. At last, five steps planning process was summarized based on the above planning ideas.(2) The frameworks of a rational representative and selective index system were constructed according to the summarized construction principles of sustainable assessment index system of chemical eco-industrial park, relying to the guide line layer A of present industrial sustainable development index system, and in the basis of eco-industrial park index that proposed by State Environmental Protection Administration. The general sustainable assessment index system of chemical eco-industrial park was preliminarily formed after analyzing, selecting and expatiating the assessment standard, the index weight as well as assessment methods.(3) Case studiesThe unformed Dalian deal island chemical eco-industrial park was planned by the proposed planning method and assessment processes in respects of industrial ecosystem and landscape ecosystem. Moreover, the integrated eco-industrial mode included four main industry chains was constructed, analyzed and explained in respects of stage implementation, intermediate product balance and matching installation integration in detail. The instructive advices for landscape construction and maintenance were suggested as well.The assessment of a well developed zoological industry of north Shandong chemical eco-industrial park was accomplished using the suggested chemical industrial park sustainable index system and assessment method. It is concluded that north Shandong chemical eco-industrial park, with the comprehensive score of 88.84, could be classified to a strong sustainable development level from expanding and filtrating 27 index of case assessment in the general index system and collecting data of present situation of park followed by weighted marking of quantitative index and qualitative index, respectively.
