Survivability Analysis Of Road Traffic Network In The Area Based On The Complex Network

Military traffic and transportation has been became the lifeblood of militaryoperations and play a crucial key role during the war. If no credible traffic network assupport, it could be difficult to get the martial initiative.Road traffic in the area is one ofthe important infrastructures for organizing the military transportation. Its survivabilitywill have a direct effect on the military supply efficiency. It is extremely important forimprovement and enhancement of supply capability of the military traffic networks, toevaluate scientifically and objectively the survivability of the road traffic network in thearea. In recent years, with the complex network research rising, a train of thoughts ofanalyzing and studying the road traffic network is provided.In this paper, survivability analysis of the road traffic network research is the mainstudy object. Firstly, the problems of the research based on complex network theory tothe traffic at home and abroad are reviewed. Secondly, the basic theory of the complexnetwork is expounded and MATLAB simulation program is briefed. Thirdly, themodeling method and process of the road network in the area is studied and the basicstatic characteristics value, such as degree of the basic and weighted network, theaverage shortest-paths and the clustering coefficient and etc, is analyzed with roadtraffic network nature in the area described. Fourthly, with the suitable survivabilityassessment index, damage degree of basic and weighted road traffic network afterattacks is emulated and analyzed to study the optimal damage strategy andcharacteristics. Finally, based on the conclusion of this paper, recommendations on thesecurity protection and building of the road traffic network in the area are put forwardand demonstrated from the direction of complex network theory.Compared with similar studies, this article highlights the following features: Firstly,The road transportation system is studied with complex network theory that is seldom.Secondly, the survivability of the area road transportation network is simulated as far aspossible a comprehensive point of view. Thirdly, the Simulation of the simplebackground of the transport task is done.
