Research On ZigBee Application In Railway Container Tracking System

With the rapid development of our country's railway undertaking, the proportion of container transportation occupied in the carriage of goods rises year by year. However, existing information collection technology of railway container which has poor accuracy has become the bottleneck of the development of railway container transportation. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents that ZigBee applied in information collection of railway container tracking system to improve the level of automation in railway container information collection.By comparing several short-distance wireless communication techniques, it is found that the ZigBee technique adapt to the requires of railway container information collection which has the advantage of low power consumption, low cost, and large network capacity. The ZigBee network node data transmission experiment, which is carried out under the changing transmission distance and the changing traveling speed, verifies the application of ZigBee technique in railway container information collection.On the basis of container tacking data analysis and collection system function requirements analysis, a container information collection system for a container station is designed according to the system designing objective and principle, and the components of the system: container in-car electronic label, ground identification equipment, and management information system, have been designed in detail, and finally the reliability and security of the system have been analyzed.In the last of this thesis, the author achieves the collection of container NO information, includes the information sended by TAG and received by AEI. Firstly, using the management information Svstem read and storage the container information which transmitted by ZigBee coordinator; then, sending the information to Container Station Report Manage Information System by Railway Special Communication Channel, to analyze and process it; Finally, completing the container's wireless tracking.
