Study On Kunming Urban Traffic Improvement And Construction Planning

In recent years, along with the function of kunming promote,the dimensions of the city extend,the private car diffusive, and etc of various reason,the need of the city transportation sharply increases,the supply of the transportation is incontradition to the demand of it, the transportation pressure with the city faces of turns more and more worse day by day. The city hall highly attach importance to transportation problem,and has been strongly developping the infrastructure of the city transportation .Due to beingsubjected to the restriction on economy and the policy,in a long period, the transportation need is satisfied mainly by a great deal of transportation infrastructure. A series of things have been done to reconstrated the transportation and also obtained certain effect for the last few years.The transportation policy,programming,coustruction and management problem etc have become the more complex and more difficult problem witch the city erector and governor have to face of.in the course of the urbanization ,the population of city sharply expulsion,the ground used in construction is more and more less,the size of the city is getting large and large.the city residents'trip is grandually multifarious,the vehicle which people choose is gradnally diverse,and this result in the rapidly increasing of an automobile.then comes the vironmental pollution and energy shortage,the congestion of traffic etc the city"focus"problem,these were profoundly manifested in the following ways:the transportation need is rapidly increase(particularly mobile),the speed of the network will generally decend,the heavy traffic district extend,the situation the congestion of traffic in the central area become more and more worse.At this stage,in the grasp of the characteristics of urban transportation and the development trends,then propose systemic important ideas,measures,formulate corresponding evalution system in the central area to meet the transport needs of major cities in the central area,the transport infrastructure and the coordinated development of the request,to adapt to the impact of the city the socio-economic develops,and maintaining the city's sustainable development with the principle of equal and reasonable balance between coordination and orderly continuation,is a practical significance and urgent issues.In order to alleviate the recent urban traffic pressure, improve traffic efficiency and speed up transport infrastructure, the preparation of the "Kunming Urban Traffic Improvement and Construction Plan" (2009 ~ 2011), to guide the next three years of construction of urban transport .The scope of the study for the central urban area of Kunming, including: the main city of Kunming, Chenggong New Area, the new built-up areas such as airports and urban areas focus on the development.Urban transport planning based on the status of transport conflicts,and to speed up the skeleton to build an integrated transport system to ease the urban traffic jams as the goal, persist in the principle of system forward and combined with the proximity, a comprehensive analysis of the recent traffic demand and the corresponding building strategy, focus on road infrastructure, put forward a three-year transportation improvement program and reasonable construction projects planned timing and implementation of the program evaluation.
