With the rapid development of light rail transit, related departments increasingly give their attention to the maintenance work of light rail vehicle. The measuring device for pressing force of guiding wheel, which are studied and designed in this paper, is one of the key equipments for light rail vehicle maintenance and repair work, it is specifically designed for straddle type monorail vehicles.The function of measuring device for pressing force is testing positive pressure, which is formed between horizontal wheel and trail beam surface. Then obtain tire pressure of horizontal wheel, it is convenient for replacement or inflated operation of the wheel. After collect and study home and abroad materials of measuring device for pressing force, introduce situation and development of horizontal pressing force testing technology and virtual instrument technology, analyze the significance of study and design for measuring device for the force, then look forward to development prospect.Based on function analysis, function solution and scheme evaluation of the device, then study the principal scheme, summarize the required working process of measuring pressure. According to it, combination with actual requirement and equipment safety, complete overall scheme design of measuring device for pressing force, and carry on structure design & verification of tailor-made orbital girder & load component with pressure sensor. On the basis of structure and operation principle of device, selection and design of electric component is fulfilled, then put up hardware platform of system.First describe the theoretical basis of signal acquisition and analysis, then discuss the signal acquisition and data pretreatment of measuring device for pressing force. On this basis, establish software system of measuring device for pressing force by virtual instrument and graphical programming software platform LabVIEW, realize the expected functions such as signal filtering, signal collection and data management.The measuring device for pressing force of guiding wheel, which is studied and designed in this paper, satisfy the functional requirements of device, not only solve the practical problems in construction of light-rail, but also provide reference effect for design of subsequent similar devices.
