Research And Application Of Baby Carrier Design Method On The View Of Modularization

Modular design could make the unified functional unit of the products be interchangeable modules or the components which have different use or different properties. While it meets users' needs, it also could economize more material and energy, reduce environmental pollution and realize recycling of the products. The applications of modular design mainly concentrated on mechanical product design are still at initial stage in the field of industrial design. Furthermore, theoretical research is badly behind the practice application. And they are short of concrete and systematic guidances.Using the method of combining theory with practice, the essay makes a feasibility and necessity analysis on introducing the related theory of modularization into the baby carrier design with the features of baby carrier on the basis of modular design theory, and then summarize and authenticate the methods of baby carrier modular design focused on the function decomposition.
