One of the main factors that may influence the comfort inside the passenger car is the noise, which is also a thorny problem. There are many factors for influencing the noise value inside the car, such as the noise caused by wheel-rail action, aerodynamic noise, multi frequency strap noise caused by equipment inside the car, and the noise produced by the vibration of carbody, etc. As well know, China railway has been continually increasing the speed since 1997, the speed has been successively enhanced for 6 times. On most of trunk lines the speed has already achieved 160km/h, some of trunk lines already achieved 200km/h. with the continuous improvement of the car speed, people pay more and more attention to the noise problem which not only disturbs the around environment and the denizens but also brings the negative effect to the passengers and the staff. Taking relative measures to reduce the passenger car's noise is propitious to satisfy the speed-up requirements and suits for the spanned development trend of railway.Based on the testing research and the basic theory of noise reduction, the thesis puts a reasonable scheme for the railway vehicles. That is to adopt a new type of environmental protection material for lessening the vibration and reducing the noise on the train. From the research that has been done on its performance, we can see that this material can improve the effect of sound insulation and absorption for the side wall; take proper damping measures to the roof, side wall and under frame, to improve the tightness of window and enhance the whole noise reduction effect of the cushioned berth sleeping coach.The thesis expounds the necessity of controlling the vibration and noise of high speed train; clearly conveys the viewpoint that it is a systemic project; and puts the basic countermeasures of controlling the vibration and noise of high speed train for car flow management, improvement of line-condition, environmental protection facilities, construction of noise reduction project and car equipment, etc. the thesis mainly dissertates the acoustics optimization designing technology of the high speed train.
