In modern machinery, the spiral bevel and hypoid gears is the basic components in power transmission system. In recent decades, it applied in aviation, transportation, machinery and instrument etc widely. The tooth shape, meshing and processing technology, are more complicated than ordinary gear. The foreign production processing of spiral bevel gears is "design-processing-detection-adjust" mainly . Domestic production process of integration is impossible. On the situation, The study of spiral bevel and hypoid gears, analysis of machine and machining errors and try to cut to 1 ~ 3 times meeting production needs is necessary.In-depth research on spiral bevel gear meshing theory, basic principle and processing method, according to the principle of meshing gears derive meshing equation. Through the teeth equation, calculating the machine parameters, and a passive wheel - active wheel tilt knife method is studied. Establish a machine- tool coordinate system. Through integro-different equation geometry, local conjugate principle and the coordinate transformation, the cutting edge cutter disk coordinate equation is deduced respectively, the size of the spiral bevel gear wheel gear tooth surface equation and the method of vector equation units.
