In the research of EV (Electric Vehicle), its development is restricted by driving control technique. Because of not having got a breakthrough in battery technology, the research of motor driving system has become the main focus in the studies of EV. To the driving control technical research, it was not only to optimize driving system efficiency of EV, and satisfy the need of driving system of EV, but also to lengthen the travel mileage by complementing and harmonizing each other between the motor control technique and energy system, all which have important meaning to the commercial expansion and application of EV.Since traditional linear control, such as PID, can't satisfy the rigor demand of driving the high performance motor, deviation named e and deviation rate of change named ec between speed of EV and motor speed of rotation, are taken as the input variable of system, satisfie the request of different time which decide the PID parameter self regulating, the self-adapting fuzzy PID control method was put forward, and based on the mathematics analysis and model building of driving motor of EV, the double closed loop control model of driving system was built. The result of simulation shows that the self-adapting fuzzy PID control method has more notable improvement than the traditional PID control in accelerating performance and overshoot of rotational speed.Finally, under the background that consideration the driving system of EV's performance and the development of EV's controller, by TI Corporation's DSP chip TMS320F2812 as the control core, by IGBT as the power module, by permanent magnetism DC as controlled member, the driving controller of system was designed from the hardware and software which is based on the TMS320F2812. The related electric circuit was completed, including main circuit and its protective circuit, power supply circuit, serial communication circuit, memory circuit, signal collect and conditioning circuit, etc.. When it came to the software, some programs is written, such as main program, measuring program of rotational speed, communication program, etc.. And the debug in the lab is done, the result indicate that the design of controller can reach the design targets.
