Research On The Division Of The County Function District Based On GIS

The division of county is the process to divide the county into different types of unit that has specific functions, based on the capacity of resources and environment, the density of existing development and the potential of development, at the same time, considered the ecological environment and the direction of economic and social development.The concept of the main functional areas is brought forward in the first time by government in the 11th"Five-Year Plan", and form main functional areas step by step from national and provincial level. The main function area is reflected the macroeconomic control of land space in the levels of national and provincial, and the division of county function areas is micro and specific function, reflected the basic situation of land space in the level of county. Therefore, the division of county area is refined and concrete division of the main function in the level of county.In this paper, based on the results of the main function in the level of county area, used the relevant theory of research and methods of GIS technology, and combined with the social, economic, natural environment and resources of the study area, to divide and research the functional areas. The full text is divided into six parts:(1)Expounded the research background of the division of county, the domestic and foreign research and the significance of research.(2)Selected the theory that adapted to the division of county functions from the relevant theory of multi-functional divisions ,the theory of sustainable development, ecological economic theory, the theory of regional spatial structure and the equilibrium theory of regional spatial development, these theories constitute basic theories of county theory. (3)Analyzed the basic content of the division of the county function from the point of the concept of division of function areas, and described the detail rules of division of county and its four basic characteristics.(4)Expounded the objectives, tasks and the basic method of the division of county, the basic approach included the determination of spatial scales, the establishment of evaluation index system, the assignment and quantification of factors, the overlay targets of the evaluation, the identification of types of function, and the spatial clustering of the function.(5)Used the methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis from the perspective of empirical research, through researching the study area, to divide the area into three types of the protected areas of ecology, the build areas of agriculture and animal husbandry, and the industrial and economic areas, and to determine the types of function and direction of its development.(6)Summarized the major work and the research results of this paper, and discussed the lack of existence of this paper, as well as the direction of future efforts.
