The Language Of Trajectory-The Analysis Of The Guiding Sign System In Beijing Subway

Subway has become an important new type of transport system for cities around the world to relieve traffic congestion, improve urban pollution. Subway guiding sign system plays an important role in subway operation efficiency, economic and social development. Compared to Language, subway guiding sign system has more strong visual impact, larger volume of information, and can communicate messages more quickly, accurately and intensively. It not only reflects a country or a city's local culture, but also worldwide.Beijing is the first city introduced Subway in China, Since Beijing won its bid to host the 2008 Olympic Games, its subway construction had been significantly accelerated. Accompanied by the construction of subway, Beijing has adjusted the subway guiding sign system in the metro for many times, which reflects the gradual recognition of importance of guiding sign system. This paper analyzed and researched Beijing subway guiding sign system from development of guiding sign, design theory and other aspects. The author hopes to make some contributions to the systematic development of the guiding sign design in our country.
