Rigid frame-continuous girders is the combination with continuous girder bridge and continuous rigid frame bridge, usually in one continuous beam in conjunction with continuous rigid frame bridge combination is the one linked in the middle or on both sides of continuous beam to adopt the use of pier consolidation of the top rigid frame, while the edge of the continuous beam structure set of support. In structure it is divided into two forms: one is setting hinges in the middle of the main span, and the rest are continuous; the other is no hinge in the combination bridge, the latter is usually called rigid frame-continuous girders.Rigid frame-continuous girders is a structure which force is between continuous girder bridge and continuous rigid frame bridge.The structure has the merits of both continuous girder bridge and continuous rigid frame bridge, abandons their disadvantage strong points of both the shortcomings, has the advantages of their own in the structure of the force, the use of properties. This structure determines the characteristics of the application in the field of bridge, increases the length of a unit and adapt to the short pier of the bridge site, such as the complexity of the bridge-bit environment, has a great vitality.In this paper,rigid frame-continuous girders and its structural characteristics of the definition is introduced, and compared to the advantages and disadvantages with similar forms of continuous rigid frame, and the continuous girder bridge, reviewed the type of the bridge at the history of the development at home and abroad , and then put forward the main research content of this article.This paper references the report of the bridge load test, and uses midas/civil finite element program to set up rigid frame-continuous girders analysis model to verify the reliability of results.By changing the structure of different systems, to change the bridge pier height, rigid frame-continuous composite girder bridge for different combinations of factors such as type, selects the operating modes and compares the internal force and displacement.It sums up and verifies the force of the characteristics of high pier long-span rigid frame-continuous girders.Taking into account the high pier rigid frame-continuous girders by the temperature change of the internal forces is a little higher,in light of relevant theories, which is calculated and compared three kinds of temperature changes on the structure of the system.In this paper,the BS5400 British norms and norms about the Chinese bridge temperature gradient results are compared, and the impact considering the local temperature on the upper part of pier on the upper part of the bridge structure is analyzed.Finally, with the theory of seismic analysis and related codes, the two-stage elastic response spectrum seismic analysis of rigid-frame-continuous girders is carried out and adverse cross-section at the end of the pier is checked.
