Double-layer Reinforced Concrete Pavement is one of jointed Portland Concrete Pavement sturctures with two double layer steel bars in the longitudinal direction in order to prevent the possible spread of cracks on the surface. It has more advantages including better durability, higher bearing capacity, less maintenance work and low comprehensive cost. This Paper is carrying out the vehicle-load stress and thermal stress analyses of the double-layer reinforced concrete pavement, making optimum design for pavement reinforcement, especially combining the special weight traffic, basing on the application and investigation of the concrete pavement in Shanxi province. Besides, the paper is solving the key construction techniques of reinforcement installation, combining with test road.In the paper, building isolated modeling of concrete and steel bar, by using finite element software ANSYS, carrying out the vehicle-load stress analysis. Through a great deal of calculation and analysis, the critical load position is found out, the relation of plane dimension, reinforcement ratio and its location are studied. The paper has a stress comparison analysis between setting and unsetting interlayer function pavement. It shows the interlayer have the function of flexible cushioning and stress absorption. The formation principle and distribution characteristic of void are researched. The influence of different void area and each design parameter to load stress is analyzed.The linear calculation model between the subgrade and concrete, the equilibrium differential equations are established for the analysis. The analytic solution is derived and the formula is provided to calculate the pavement stress and displacement at the critical position under the temperature drop and shrinkage. The influences of reinforcement ratio, material linear expansion coefficient and temperature gradient on the concrete and steel stresses are analyzed, and the optimal reinforcement design of the double-layer reinforced concrete pavement is studied.The paper made structural coordinated design of the double-layer reinforced concrete pavement with the interlayer function, mainly including plate thickness design, plane design, joint design and reinforcement design. According to the achievements of the paper and the test pavement practical construction experience, carrying out the design and the construction of the double-layer reinforced concrete pavement, seeking for scientific construction technology.
