Research On Highway Conservation Sites Layout And Device Configuration

With the rapid increase in highway and the improvement in the maintenance requirements, the maintenance task will be double in the next few years. Based on scientific theories and methods, this paper researches on the selection of sites, site grading and device configuration for conservation sites in the regional highway network. The conservation sites can finish the maintenance work quickly, economically and efficiently with emergent and economic requirements. It also can ensure the road well during the road life.This paper sets up the conservation sites at different levels and configures maintenance device, based on disease types and treatment processes such as the highway roadbed, asphalt road, bridges and tunnels. Considering the emergent and economy requirements, it seeks the scheme of the sites selection to make the lowest-cost. The paper uses of location theory and graph theory in operations research to make the mathematical model, with analysis of technical constraints in the sites selection. Then, it uses the Shortest Path Problem, Set Covering theory and Heuristic function algorithm to solve the problem. Finally, it verifies the method reasonable as an example of the highway in Shanxi Province.
