An ocean going instrumentation ship is a special ship built for the development of intercontinental guided missile, submarine to shore missile and astronautical technology. When new developed or rebuilt measurement equipments are installed in the ship, they are usually experienced a series: static indexs test, calibration in boatyards and dynamic indexs test by flight check above the sea. In this paper, Yuan Wang TT&C ship is taken as the background to study flight check data errors and explore the practical application of flight check data.There are three parts in this paper.1. Analyses of flight check residual error data. In this paper, measurement error sources of TT&C ship check flight have been analysed deeply, and decomposed models of leading error sources are also built; some coclusions are got by traits anyasis and staticstic analysis of flight check residual error data.2. Measurement error models identification based on flight check residual error data. Through analyzing flight check residual error data, systematic error models are built and after error models identification, dynamic lag error is ascertained as the leading error source; a new modified model of dynamic lag error is put forward and by models testifying, the new one can restrain tendency terms of residual errors effectively, variation reduced one scalar level.3. Ship-swing error models identification based on flight check residual error data. Analysing the influence of ships swing on measurements, using the nonlinear random response theory,an NARMAX model of the ship-swing error is built; by models testifying, this model is justified to separate concealed period terms of errors, residual errors close to white errors.This paper studies how to use flight check data to the calibration of measurement system of TT&C ship, which is to find error causes during judgings and eliminate them. By flight check residual error data analyzing and processing, we can get some prior information of the measurement systems of the ship, such as dynamic lag error models, ship-swing models, and apply the conclusions to real measurements to improve the data correcting and improve precisions of orbit determination.
