As an universal loading cabin, the shelter has strong mobility and environment adaptability, therefore it is gradually applied to more fields. So research on structural characters of shelter and composite laminated plates needs suitable theoretical instruction in the process of its development and production.The paper studies structural characters of universal composite laminated plates shelter with the use of finite element method. Firstly, the rigidity and strength performance such as tension, bend, torsion of composite laminated plates are calculated by use of classical lamination theory, and then composite laminated plates modeling method is analyzed. By contrast and experiment, direct linearity samdwich element is accorded with characters of composite laminated plates. According to structural characters of shelter, its finite element model is built by necessary simplification.Secondly, shelter's mechanics characters is analyzed by use of ANSYS software. And on the basis of discussing four kinds of work stations, results of calculating shelter's rigidity and strength performance indicate that composite laminated plates consisting of two thin aluminium faces and a foamed plastic core is applicable for design of shelter laminate. In the paper, the shelter inherent frequency is obtained with its modal analysis in different structural parameters. And Computer simulation of shelter drop indicates its structural safety. By contrasting theoretical calculation and test data, calculating method is validated for presenting universal shelter structure.Lastly, according to application requests in special environment, thermal analysis model of composite laminated plates is built. heat preservation performance of different structural shelter in typical work stations is calculated for improving universal shelter structure. Afterwards, universal shelter structure is checked by the analysis of shelter electromagnetic shielding principle and shielding efficiency calculation.From the conclusions of above analyses and calculation, the paper puts forward basic thought of shelter structural design meeting different loading requests, which provides a reference for advancing shelter product.
