At present, automation test of vehicle electrical product is still weak. To promote automatic test and upgrade test ways, computer test and database for vehicle electrical laboratory is built.Drived by computer technology, the general, intelligent network of test system with the virtual instrument technology as the symbol develops rapidly, which brings profound change for the design method and realization technology of data acquisition. On the present research basis of virtual instrument, this article proposes a data acquisition system based on PXI bus, and a test system for vehicle electrical laboratory integrated with LabVIEW test software.First, this article introduces the background of the subject, the definition, feature, development trend of virtual instrument, and then briefly introduces basic structure and the theory of the laboratory, and each major facility. This article focuses on the following: PXI bus- based data acquisition system, including bus technology, hardware selection, signal adjustment and data acquisition; signal adjustment by means of multicenter signal adjustment board and signal acquisition by data acquisition card. at the software, signal test analysis and treatment by test program with LabVIEW and test interface optimization; exchange visits among databases with the LabSQL tool for free using the relation between LabVIEW and database. In the end, the article summarizes some problems and difficulties in the course of research, and proposes some constructive countermeasures and prospects.
