With the development of the automotive electronic technology, there are more and more electronic devices installed and used in the cars. How to control these devices effectively, safely and reliably, which has been paid more attention. The LIN bus is used widely as the supplement of CAN bus, with its low-cost and simple realization. The power window control based on LIN bus, especially the pinch detection algorithm is the main content of this thesis.Firstly, the LIN bus protocol norms are introduced and the realization of LIN API is analyzed. Then based on the LIN protocol norms the LIN bus system for window control is developed, including the analysis of demand for system, the hardware design and the software realization. At last the bus signals and the system function are tested.Secondly, the model of control object and the structure of control system are given. The general method for pinch detection and it's weakness are summed up. The characteristics of the friction torque and the influence to pinch detection are analyzed by experiments in different temperature, control voltage conditions. Then a quarter vehicle vibration model is set up. Based on the vibration model, the simulation of the vibration system is completed in the MATLAB environment. The characteristics of the vibration torque and the influence to pinch detection are researched for two types of road roughness.Finally, based on the model, the method of separating the friction torque is proposed and the H∞filter technology is applied to estimate the state of the model. The state to be estimated and the pinch detection criterion are determined by analyzing the steady-state estimation error due to the parameter uncertainties in the motor model. As soon as the estimated torque rate exceeds the pinch detection threshold level, the pinch can be determined. At last, the algorithm is validated by simulation and experiment. The algorithm is proved to be accuracy and reliable.
