This paper is finished with cooperating dalian Chuang Sifu hydro-couplings company.we provide important data to its design.This paper set up 3D model of the impeller of speed-regulation hydro-couplings with model YOCQ550 using I-DEAS and ANSYS software analyzed its strength with FEM. The impeller strength reliability was proved. It provides reliable datum and method for this new hydro-couplings design and manufacture.we will privde a report to the company to set a rule for designer to comply.After analysis we get the conclusion as follows1)The impeller strength reliability is decided by centrifugal force.2)The biggest stress of the impeller's is found on the leaves of the impeller.Because the centrifugal force pull the impeller.we should increase the fillet belong the leaves and walls.3)The most data is 146.3MPa which on the edge of the impellers. This data is more less than the safe data,so the impeller can work normally.the leaves'materal is ZL114A,materal's stress is 310MPa. The safe index is 2.0. the impeller's stress is more than it. So the impeller can work normally.Through this paper we can conclude that the point of the impellers doesn't work on the market is not right. The impeller of the hydro-couplings dosen't work normall which is the shaft is not well. So we must improve our produce a craft and improve our quality of the bearings.
