Daylight is always changing with space-time. Architects can manage a variety of design elements, but it was difficult to accurately grasp daylight. Seasons alternating and twilight changing, Each year, quarterly and daily, daylight with changing intensity, direction, texture and color, is giving the spiritualism of life and the strength of emotion to space.Daylight for space, just like air in life. Without daylight and shadow, space would be dead. In the process of daylight reaching space, outdoor environment is a source of light, building skin is light traps and architectural space is a container to capture light. If the building as a musical instrument, then the outdoor environment like the notes, the architectural skin like strings, the architectural space is no doubt in the music. As a result, architects should not only take daylight as the means of eliminating the dark, they should pay attention to the abundant implication that being revealed when daylight impacts on space. They should attach importance to daylight in the visual expression of space, emphasis on daylight of the spirit of space to construct and empower people to experience the poetic sentiment. In this thesis, through analyzing and summarizing the abundant datum and case, writer trying to study what are the elements of the impact of daylight on architectural space, how these elements affect the light into space and flow in space. As a language of logic, in the first chapter discusses the nature of light, features of light, as well as the relationship between the lights and shadows. With a view from the perspective of "Know what is it and know why is it" to provide for the future discussion of the various chapters with the theory of well-prepared; In the second chapter, relations between light and the outdoor environment are discussed. The environmental factors such as the time and the geographical characteristics of light are studied. And how the specific environmental factors such as the garden, water, green, etc. to affect the light into building are also discussed; The third chapter discusses how the construction of the elements for the architectural skin to affect building to capture light. These factors include the construction interface as part of accepting daylight, the daylighting hole as part of transmitting daylight, the shading devices as part of regulating dayligt,as well as the way the layout of building space; When daylight filtered through the outdoor environment and captured by the construction interface and eventually into the construction space, is the contents of the fourth chapter. After daylight entering the space, it will be reflected, regulated and even redistributed by the indoor reflection control devices, accordingly complete the free movement in the space, and further complete a visual expression and the spirit construction of the space. At this point, the light will not be completed until the final mission: to build a rich emotional and spiritual meaning of the architectural space; In the fifth chapter, through the interpretation of the way of using daylight of some famous architects, with a view to analyzing their sophisticated ideas and case on daylighy, deepening the understanding of the way of the adoption of daylight in the architectural design , and more effectively guiding to the construction practice. To study the relationship of light and space is to explore the nature of space. In the design of architectural space, we should put aside all the ism and school, grasp flexiblely daylight as the smart design vocabulary. We should attach great importance to the rich spiritual connotation being shown by the collision of daylight and space. Accordingly give space its true nature and provide humanity with a place for poetry habitat. This is also the ultimate goal of writing this paper and heartfelt desire of the author. There are a total of more than 100000 words and 398 charts in the full text.
