Concrete has a long history,It has been used in engineering construction from the9thcentury BC, the Roman era. With the development of science and technology, Architecturalconcrete has gradually aroused people’s concern form the1930s. The research on architecturalconcrete material is early abroad, all kinds of pioneering attempt has been made to improvethe emotional performance of concrete in architectural space. The study of concreteconstruction in China started late, with slowly development. In recent years, Architecturalconcrete has shown its strong plasticity and artistic expression gradually,with the developmentof the theory and practice. More and more people began to interested in architectural concretematerial because of its unlimited potential in emotional expression. With the increasingattention to the topic of low carbon and energy saving.concrete building has became the focusof designers.In this context, the purpose of this paper is to research the architectural concretematerial of emotional expression in architectural space, make people acquaintance theimmense possibilities in express emotions of architectural concrete al and its great advantageon energy saving and environmental protection, to make people aware of the value of theresearch and the application of concrete. So the author has mainly carried on the followingaspects of work. Firstly,concept definition of the architectural concrete material andarchitectural emotions, introduced the history and general situation of architectural concreteand the research status of concrete at home and abroad, Study on the related design theory,combined with the status quo of the relevant provisions of the law of our country and society,expounds the feasibility and necessity of the development of architectural concreteconstruction in China.
