Study On Design Control Of Urban Morphology

In the times of accelerating urbanization in china, a mass of urban constructions causes many problems on the aspect of urban morphology, such as the chaos of urban space, the lost of urban style and features, the lack of human scales and so on. Therefore, how to design reasonable and control the urban morphology efficient becomes one of the hotspot problems discussed in the urban plan profession.First of all, guided by the Place Theory and New urbanism Theory and combined with the actual state of china's urban construction and development presently, this paper analyzes the two main problems—"design"and"control"on urban morphology in china, and puts forward the goal, principle and control elements of the urban morphology design. And then, through the refinement and separation of macro control elements into the direct control elements, the paper develops the research on the elements controlling of urban morphology from three levels which are"spot, line and surface". Moreover, the paper takes the example as the Suzhou industrial park to analyze and explain the theme, in order to work out a reasonable and efficient control method of urban morphology. In addition, this paper tries to classify and summarize the control results of urban morphology design. Based on the difference of the control methods, the paper also suggests some correlative control indexes, design standard and the tactic of guidance. Finally, through the analysis and research on the case of , this paper introduce the concrete content and control method of urban morphology design, so as to deepen the understanding of the key viewpoints for the readers. In the meantime, it also brings forward some considerations aimed at the relative questions.This paper combines the method research with concrete practice of urban morphology, to work out a reasonable and feasible design method and control measure of urban morphology, and hope that this research could provide some valuable references for the theory and practice of urban planning and urban design.
